However I moved it downstairs again as it was getting poor signal downstairs. But I used to have the modem router upstairs, and it seemed to connect fine through that coax cable. When contacting Xfinity, they told me I would need to activate the Coax line and would need a techinican to do it.So I was wondering what exaclty am I doing wrong? Does my splitter not have a POE filter, I wasn’t sure from the picture if the in outlet had one installed. However the MoCA adapter lights aren’t all on, Link is On, but MoCA is off. Xfinity from street -> Splitter in basement-> Modem/Router Combo from XfinityĢnd flour: Splitter in basement-> MoCA adapter => Router So I’m trying to set up MoCA adapters so I can use Ethernet upstairs, but I have a hard time understanding what some of the posts and diagrams mean. u/RoweDent created this awesome resource on network theory u/tht1kidd_ has created a suggestion post regarding information everyone needs to provide when asking a question about their network There have been some excellent guides written in this sub, and we're always looking for more!
